Logistics
The specific logistics of an event will be posted within the event listing (on front page) and further details will be sent to confirmed registrants by e-mail. For most events, the below information can give you an idea of what to expect.

We start early in the day and try to get to the best dive spots before the crowds. Many locations are accessible by shinkansen or local trains, but some do require a car to reach (or some sites, a ferry trip!)
Generally speaking you are responsible for your own transportation to the site and are required to meet at the agreed upon time. However, we can certainly offer advice, and sometimes share transportation. rest assured, even if you don't speak Japanese we can still help you get where you need to be.

For overnight and weekend trips, accommodation will be specified in the event

A typical fun day of diving day starts at 8:30am for the first dive briefing and equipment set up. Sometimes we'll have 2 dives then lunch, sometimes we'll break for lunch between dives. By mid to late afternoon we'll done and pack up the gear. Training courses will have a schedule sent out in advance.

Pricing
Pricing varies depending on what dive spots we are visiting, and what activities are planned. Details will be noted in the specific event listing.

Our philosophy on pricing is to help expose people to diving in Japan for a fair price while still providing a high level of professionalism. This means that we price the event by first covering the costs of the guide/instructor then charging a small fee on top.
Guiding Fee per person 5,000yen/day
Instructing Fee per person 10,000yen/day

If you haven't experienced diving in Japan before, it may be more expensive than other countries, but like most things in Japan its often worth it. We try to be fair and reasonable with the focus on having a safe and exciting dive adventure!

Deposit Policy
All courses require a deposit to be made in advance. Payments can be made by either bank transfer or cash (sorry no credit cards)

Cancellation Policy
Generally, we try to be as fair as possible when a cancellation becomes necessary. However for education courses and multi-day dive trips, the required deposit is forfeit in the event of a customer cancellation. For day trips and fun diving, there is a cancellation fee of 5,000 yen if canceled within 7 days of the event.

Loss/Damage of rental equipment
If a customer loses or damages equipment borrowed or rented from the dive center, that customer will be liable for any replacement fee. (sounds fair to us)
