IANTD philosophy
IANTD believes individual diver responsibilities are developed through rigorous skill refinement and experience in the water. Vigorous instruction with a strong student / Instructor relationship, enhancing a transfer of the diving responsibility to the student, is the essence of our teaching philosophy.
IANTD training philosophy believes it is better to be cautious and demanding in training than to have even one accident. IANTD is dedicated to producing knowledgeable and skillful divers. Both are key for developing competent, confident and relaxed divers, who can fully enjoy the exhilarating experiences of sport and technical diving.
Recreational Trimix Diver
Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver

This Program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of EANx for Sport diving. It further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the EANx concept of diving. It is also intended to supplement the skills of recreational trimix divers. The Program employs EANx mixes from 21% to a maximum of 50% oxygen. For divers qualified as recreational Trimix Divers mixtures of a minimum of 28% oxygen combined with a Helium content that maintains an END no greater than 80 fsw (24msw) may be used. This program qualifies divers to perform Trimix Dives outside of training up to 130 fsw (30 msw) and perform decompression stops required dives up to 10 minutes, with required stops no deeper than 20 fsw (6 msw) using EAN 50 as a decompression gas. If Recreational Trimix is used a safety stop at 30 fsw (9 msw) is required.
Students are taught the use of Recreational trimix mixtures from 28% to a maximum of 40% oxygen and with a helium content with an END no greater than 80 fsw (24 msw) for diving
